Holly Albersworth, an instructor at the Airdrie campus, has been battling cancer for over 2 years. Her courage, dignity and ever present smile and humour are an inspiration to all those who know her. The Relay for Life offered the chance to celebrate cancer survivors, remember and honour loved ones lost to cancer and fight back against cancer. More than 150 cancer survivors and supporters of the relay completed the all night relay and more than $45,000 was raised for the Canadian Cancer Society.
